Where to start? Hamish was at my door exactly as explained and we were on the mountain in time for first lifts and an amazing ski day.
He picked up after dinner and despite the weather coming in and some heavy snow falling, we always felt safe as Hamish navigated us down the hill. Thanks Snow Dog.
Note of snow conditions: Road closures sometimes happen during the winter months as storms land on Hotham. We will make the decision to take the safest route, which may via Bairnsdale if the Harrietville approach is likely to close. Snow Dog Transport has great experience in all conditions and this decision won't affect the quality or cost of your trip.
If you are Aiming Higher, Hotham is the resort for you. With the steepest inbounds terrain in Australia, Hotham will push your limits. Some great tree skiing can be found (a rarity in Aus).
Not ready for the challenging stuff? Hotham has cruisy Blues and great Greens to make your mountain time more leisurely.
If leisure and relaxation are on the cards, head just down the road to Dinner Plain. The Onsen offers a tranquil outdoor hot pool to soak those weary bones and sore muscles. If a massage or spa treatment is more your style, the Onsen and Spa is what you need.
Hotham boasts a great range of eateries from a quick lunch at Hot Doggies to a relaxed asia fusion feast and cocktails at Miss Mary’s. The party continues into the night with bands and DJs visiting for gigs at Swindlers or The Genny.
